Supervision for ambitious clinicians
a space for Colorado therapists, counselors, and clinicans looking to carve their own path with the support of a guide
you've longed for a space of support
learning isn’t something that’s been difficult. in fact, you’ve had to learn all your own. crummy supervisors and survival mode in grad school have helped you thrive in a world that doesn’t have your back. You’ve always figured out how to make it work, no matter how much effort it took. but you are looking for more now.
you want a boulder to lean
a space of rest and clarity. you do some kickass work, even if you don’t believe it yet. you want a space to take a rest to reflect on your work and the impact you are making in other peoples lives.
a reliable space
a space to speak your mind, to ask questions that you begin with “this might be stupid”, to find insight in your clinical work.
a constant space
a place you know will be there after that shitty week. a place to figure out how to act on your client’s behalf. to honor the ehtics and business of the work that you do.
you need supervision with me
Tim Kelly, LCSW BC-TMH
Hello there! I’m Tim Kelly, LCSW, BC-TMH. i’ve got ADHD, make constant grammar errors as I study poetry therapy, and haven’t updated my photo in many months (and now have a fully grown beard). More importantly, i drink lots of coffee and help others enter the space of confidence with a sturdy support.
I’ve piecemealed my supervision before, had supervisors that were there and made sure I didn’t mess up. But there was something missing.
a connection & space that fostered my practice.
I figured it out along the way. I’ve found my way into emergency room care, worked with children, adolescents and families in their home, and ran groups at IOP. Along the way I learned what worked for me, built my clinical framework. I sprinted to clinical independence and found my passions.
I built it with a hyper independence took way too much time and energy.
With a little therapy and a wonderful working environment I discovered the importance of connection and learning with others. You have some great ideas you want to accomplish and don’t know how to get there. I want to offer you a space to explore and discover the paths to a clinical craft all your own, with the guidance and support of a supervisor who is there to help you.
Supervision that is just the right amount
nobody wants a controlling supervisor. In the same breath you want to be known and seen. But you want to build connection with peers that are supportive and encouraging. and you need to know that this space is here for you when you need it.
the backbone of supervision. we take this space to dive into cases that are complex and nuanced. We’ll discuss the Parts of you that come up with that client that just grinds your gears. This is the space where you’ll build your craft and framework that helps your clients live healthier lives.
This is the place of brainstorming and learning. each group supervision has a case presentation where you can tell people how confident you are, and work past the road blocks. It’s a place to come up with questions you didn’t know you had, and learn about what you don’t konw.
emergencies happen. clients act dangerously, weird situations come up, and you are just stumped on what to do. In these situations, you want to know that you have the support to help your clients stay safe and act ethically. you’ll get my phone number to test and call in these cases. we’ll work to prevent this urgent need in the first place, but i’ll be there if it’s needed.

Most frequent questions and answers
Rather than charge you per session, you’ll pay monthly. This monthly fee covers your individual sessions, group sessions, reviewing and signing notes if you’re in private private practice (or any sort of other administration notes) and the time I keep available to be there for you in those urgent situations.
This helps me balance my time and keeps you in the priority.
Memberships are $400 a month.
Each membership includes 2 group sessions and 2 individual sessions. Groups are done in a cohort style, so when you join us you stay in the same groups, unless a change is needed.
Individual sessions can be scheduled at anytime in my calendar (including some availability Sunday afternoons) with group sessions on a fixed schedule.
Like most people, I have my phone on me a lot. Though there are certainly times that I am not available, like when seeing my own clients, I have plenty of opportunities to be available. I keep my office hours starting around noon up until 10pm most Wednesdays-Fridays, with Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday 10-2pm availability for individual supervision and chat sessions. But as I mentioned before, I’m still here for urgent clinical needs as you need me.
