Howdy Hey!

I’m Tim – LCSW, nature loving poet, INFJ, and recovering people pleaser. Most importantly, I’m a frustrated dream who knows how hard it is to build a lifestyle that cares for yourself and gives you confidence in your everyday situations. 

Also, I have a full beard now. I just haven’t been able to get new headshots because I’ve been to busy building this therapy practice for you. 

Let’s start this journey. I’ll bring the snacks

I work with fed up and exhausted people pleasers 1:1 in the therapy office. They thought they were just looking for someone to talk through things with, learn a few skills, and feel better. After listening to enough people’s miracles, they all had in common: They were looking for space to connect with the world, explore and express themselves freely, and live a life of intentionality. And through our work, they built themselves with creative expression, enjoying time outside, and finding the bravery to share with others. 

Being the rooted dreamer I am, I set out to dream this miracle into existence. A clear path to travel so my clients didn’t have to “figure it out” in their lives. In the process of making it for them, I knew I was making a space for you too. Should you choose to join me.  

Through individual therapy we got to the heart and core of the issue. In Writing Wisdom groups we set out to bear witness to our hidden desires and needs, and bravely share them with others for the first time. For Soulful Stargazing retreats we take time to admire the wonder you hold and the world that surrounds you.

How we Get There

Individual Therapy
3 sessions monthly

We dive fucking deep into your inner world and make intentional steps to learning why you walk the path you do, and start to walk the path to you. This is where the course correction happens. 

We plan for 3 monthly to balance out all the extra work we do, but if you know you want 4 monthly we can chat about that too.

wisdom writing groups
2 monthly

 

The place where you go to find the inner wisdom you hold. Like looking at a metaphorical map for your emotional wellbeing. We write to explore the next steps on your journey to inform your soulful stargazing and individual sessions. Helpful for planning but certainly part of the work. These groups help teach you the skills of journaling and creative writing to explore yourself and your inner world, and you’ll get to practice in a space of like minded people so that you can let your emotions take space in a brave way. 

Soulful Stargazing

The reason the stars can’t be seen is because of all the light pollution that gets in the way. So we retreat from modern life to the natural world to find the shining soul you are. This is the space where that is built simply to exist and get aware of the world around you, find the wonder of it, and strengthen the connection you have with yourself. Not literal stargazing unfortunately, because the Parks close at sunset.

We take 2-3 hours in this group to practice how we relate to the world, which will be held both virtually for those out of state and in person somewhere near the mountains for those local to the Denver area.

Office Hours

The metaphorical bow that ties this all together. during my office hours when I’m not seeing clients, we can do check ins via messaging or brief 10 minute calls when necessary. You no longer just need to ‘figure it out’ on your own, so we can spend our individual sessions going deeper. or if you’re ambitious you can ask for more things to work on. 

we talk about the skills you are practicing and the situations you get stuck in. a little problem solving goes a long way.
