Welcome, Curiously Lost Soul

You’re in the right place to be lost, regardless of where we meet.

I’ve made it a practice to help others send a search party within themselves, through poetry & journaling, forest therapy, and good ol’ couch therapy. You might have lost what you hoped to become, but that doesn’t mean we can’t find pieces of it again.

I’m committed to being a guide for the lost who look for healing and meaning in this fucked up and chaotic world.

Are you ready to find what you’ve been missing?

The Liminal Path

Your soul is sucked dry by these dementor-type meetings sucking on the soul of your joy and creativity.

Most of these meetings could have been handled in a simple email. Is it worth replying “As Per My Last Email” just to be slandered by Jeff about your “tone” and how you should be “seen and not heard” in the meetings? We all know a Jeff.  He works a few cubicles down, has a voice like a cacophony of gravel on a chalkboard, talks through his ass (and acts like what comes out of one.) You know exactly who I’m talking about.

You fantasize about emailing HR and storming into your boss’s office and finally telling them you’ve had enough of his shit. Respectfully, of course, using the advice of a quick google search on “how not to get fired by your boss”. Google seems to save your job all the time because you don’t feel you actually have the answers when everyone looks to in in the Teams meeting.

is it really about jeff though, or something deeper inside you?

Trauma Journaling

Sometimes, things are too horrific to talk about. Other times you don’t know how to say it. Written Exposure Therapy is an evidence-based treatment developed by Veteran’s Affairs to treat trauma of all and any kind. 5 Sessions of 30 minutes of consistent journaling offer improved symptom management and lessened severity.
